Lip Balm Frequently Asked
Questions
Are Lip Balms Addicting?
This is just an old wives tale. There is no actual
addiction to lip balm, except the fact that you will
fall in love with Lip Balm King lip balms.
Why Do We Use USP Grade Beeswax?
At Lip Balm King we are very particular about
ingredients. USP grade Beeswax is the finest and purest
you can use. Most of the Beeswax used throughout the
world is from China, and unfortunately it is not pure,
therefore, does not qualify for USP certification.
Does Lip Balm King Use Preservatives in the Lip Balms?
At Lip Balm King we do not use synthetic preservatives
in our lip balms. Our lip balms are naturally preserved
and have a very long shelf life.
Can Your Lip Balm Melt Depending on
Climate & Where it is Stored?
Yes, depending on where you live and where you leave
your lip balm, i.e. car, beach, golf course, it can melt
in extreme temperatures or become soft. Good news is
that once it is stabilized in normal temperatures it
will solidify.
What Happens if it Melts in my Pocket or on Clothing?
The best thing to do that we have found is to use an
iron with or without a wax paper or thin cloth and it
should allow it to lift up and off.
Is it Important to Protect Your Lips for the Sun?
Lips have little or no melanin, which is the pigment
that protects that helps screen out the suns harmful
rays, so yes it important to protect your lips from the
sun. The SPF sunscreen in Lip Balm Kings sunscreen does
help with that.
Do I Need to Protect my Lips Indoors?
Yes it is. Many people lick their lips a lot out of
habit, and depending on climate, the heat from the
furnace in the house can be drying, as well as air
conditioning which removes the moisture.
Does Lip Balm Help Heal Chapped Lips?
It can certainly help and speed up the process. Lip Balm
Kings lip balms contain special highly emollient oils,
as well as essential fatty acid oils that help
moisturize and protect.
Is it Best to Use Lip Balm with Lipstick?
It is best to use under your lip stick so your lips
benefit from the emollients, and it can also hold it on
a little better.

well as animal lovers. Many of us are actually
vegetarian, so No we do not participate or do any type
